Empower Newsletter – October 2010

Welcome to the October, 2010 edition of the Empower Newsletter.  I hope you enjoy it.  Any suggestions for future content and/or the ‘Chicks in the City Group’ (see below) would be appreciated.

Your feedback

I am planning to start a group for women called ‘Chicks in the City’ with an aim to connect women who live in Sydney.  Basically it’s about hanging out with women, meeting new friends, socialising, finding like-minded women to chat to or even making long lasting friendships. The plan is that it will be free and open to all females.  The rest is up for discussion. Your feedback on the following questions is not only welcome, but appreciated.

What day of the week will we meet? What time would suit you? How often will we meet?  Eg., weekly, fortnightly, monthly Preferred location? How long? Venue? Eg., would you like coffee and/or alcohol available to purchase?  The agenda? Eg., two volunteer speakers (5-10 minutes, speaking about their life stories). How often would you be willing to come along? Any other suggestions?

Please email all answers and suggestions to di@coachtoempower.com.au by 30 November 2010.

A Great Read

I have just finished reading ‘The Success Principles’ by Jack Canfield.  It is one of the most inspiring books I have every read.  Not only does it show us that the success principles are something we can all use and implement, it also helps to make us aware of where our focus is and where it needs to be to achieve our goals and dreams.  I highly recommend this book if you would like some extra help to get what you want.

Affirmation Corner

Forgiveness Affirmation I release myself from all the demands and judgements that have kept me limited.  I allow myself to go free – to live in joy and love and peace.  I allow myself to create fulfilling relationships, to have success in my life, to experience pleasure, to know that I am worthy and deserve to have what I want.  I now go free.  In that process I release all others from any demands and expectations I have placed on them.  I choose to be free and I allow others to be free.  I forgive myself and I forgive them.  And so it is. – Jack Canfield.
